Apple Cake --TNT--
350º for 45 minutes
2 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 c. shortening ....my aunt used corn oil
4 eggs , lightly beaten
2 c. sugar
4 c. finely chopped apples
Nuts (Optional)
Mix dry ingredients
Add shortening and eggs
Fold in apples and mix well
Pour into 9x13 pan
Bake 45 minutes at 350º
**NOTE**
This recipe was given to me from my aunt, Daddy's sister.
It is very good!

this sounds like a very good cake. Would be good to bake when apples are in season.
